If you find the videos are not playing correctly on Android devices, please ensure that you have all the most recent software updates to your operating system and then perform a full re-boot of your device.
We’re investigating issues with playing the videos on ASUS Eee Pad and Samsung Galaxy Tab Android devices; at the moment they might not play.
Touch whichever issue of the Photographer’s i Magazine you wish to purchase or one of the free Taster issues. You can also subscribe to future issues.A dialog window will appear asking for your iTunes Store login details.
After entering your login details, the issue of the magazine will start downloading. This will take a little while, depending on the speed of your connection and the issue that you are downloading (they vary in size).
Having downloaded and installed, the issue will show two buttons: Archive and View. Touch View to read the magazine. To save space on your iPad, you can archive the issue having read it but later re-install it whenever you like at no cost.
You might find that the billing date and the date the next issue becomes available for download are not the same, for example you might be billed a couple of days or weeks before the issue you paid for becomes available for download. That’s because the billing cycle is a rigid fixed term, while the realities of publishing mean that sometimes an issue will run a few days behind. Don’t worry, you’ll still get the issue you paid for.
If you see this error, it means that for whatever reason the iTunes store doesn’t think you have the most up-to-date version of the app installed on your iPad, or at least that you didn’t download it while logged into the iPad under your iTunes account.
To solve it, you’ll need to remove the app from your iPad and re-install. Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to download all the issues of the magazine you’ve already purchased – whether individually or via subscription – but you’ll need to download them again.
